Nuanx, Inc. (“Nuanx,” “we,” “us”) operates the Nuanx mobile app and the website at nuanxit.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We built Nuanx around anonymity, and we collect as little as we reasonably can.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign up we create an account identified by a username and, if you choose email sign-in, an email address. What you share is posted anonymously and is not shown with your public identity.
- Content you create. The things you post and share within the app.
- Usage data. Basic technical and interaction data (such as app events and device type) used to operate and improve the service.
How we use your information
- To provide and operate the features of the app.
- To personalize your experience and keep the community safe (for example, blocking, muting, and moderation).
- To communicate with you about your account or the service.
- To maintain, secure, and improve Nuanx.
Automated processing
Some features rely on automated systems, including AI, to process content you create in order to operate the app. This processing is used only to provide the features described above.
How information is shared
- Anonymously, with the community. What you post is visible to other users without your public identity attached.
- Service providers. We use trusted infrastructure and processing providers (such as cloud hosting and AI providers) that handle data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the service.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention and deletion
You can delete your account at any time from within the app. Deletion begins a recovery window during which you can restore your account; after that window your account and associated personal data are permanently removed, except where we are required to retain certain information by law. Public contributions may remain visible in de-identified form.
Your choices
You control the content you post and can edit your profile, block or mute other users, and delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Contact us to exercise these rights.
Children
Nuanx is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, by notice in the app.
